This is Monschau. A tiny, touristy town not that far from where I live... but actually kind of far because the train doesn't directly go there so I had to take a bus part of the way.
It was so storybook German and almost a bit visually overwhelming at times, but I enjoyed that aspect of it and hope you do too. I actually first saw Monschau in this video.
