Luxembourg wasn't what I expected, but ended up being a pleasant surprise! The city is built on hills and valleys and space in between. The views and nature were stunning. In the main center area I was reminded of France, however, below in one of the valleys, it felt like Germany. This was my first new country since I've been back in Europe and definitely not one you would expect most Americans to visit... which was great, because I felt like the only American there!

Glorious Ghent
So I have to say... Bruges was unbelievable. But Ghent (also in Belgium), Ghent had personality. It wasn't as 100% put together as Bruges, but that's why I loved it. I would totally live there. I arrived in the evening, so i was able to get a few evening shots before I explored it the next day. And I would totally go back. So here's one of my new favorite places:
| This was literally my hostel! And it looked right over the canal. |
